1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Al-Ilm Academy website (alilmacademy.com), enrolling in any course, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are enrolling a minor (under 18), you as the parent or legal guardian accept these Terms on their behalf.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. About Our Services
Al-Ilm Academy is an online educational platform offering live one-on-one and group Quranic, Arabic language, and Islamic studies classes. Our services include:
- Quran Reading with Noorani Qaida
- Quran Recitation with Tajweed
- Quran Memorisation (Hifz)
- Arabic Language courses for kids and adults
- Tafseer & Quranic Translation
- Hadith Sciences
- Free Islamic tools (Qibla Finder, Prayer Times, Zakat Calculator, etc.)
All classes are conducted online via video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, or similar) by our verified and qualified tutors.
3. Enrolment & Registration
- To enrol, you must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- You must be at least 18 years old to register an account. Parents or guardians may register and manage accounts on behalf of minors.
- Al-Ilm Academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrolment at its discretion.
- Students are entitled to a free trial class before committing to a paid plan.
4. Class Schedule & Attendance
- Classes are scheduled based on mutual agreement between the student (or parent) and the assigned tutor.
- Students are expected to attend classes on time. Repeated no-shows without prior notice may result in rescheduling or suspension of classes.
- Rescheduling: Students may request to reschedule a class by notifying us at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.
- Cancellations: Classes cancelled without sufficient notice will be considered attended and will not be rescheduled.
- Al-Ilm Academy reserves the right to reschedule or substitute tutors when necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
5. Tuition Fees & Payment
- Tuition fees are as listed on our Pricing Page. Current standard rate is $17.89 / PKR 5,000 per month.
- Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle (monthly).
- We accept payments via bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and international payment methods.
- All fees are quoted in USD and PKR. Currency conversion rates may apply for international students.
- Al-Ilm Academy reserves the right to modify fees with 30 days' prior notice to enrolled students.
6. Refund Policy
- If you are not satisfied with our services, you may request a refund within 7 days of your first paid class.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
- No refunds will be issued for classes already attended or for periods where the student failed to attend scheduled classes without prior cancellation.
- Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days and will be returned to the original payment method.
7. Student Conduct
All students (and parents/guardians) are expected to:
- Treat tutors and staff with respect and courtesy at all times
- Maintain a distraction-free learning environment during classes
- Not record, distribute, or share class sessions without written consent
- Not engage in any behaviour that is disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate
Al-Ilm Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of any student who violates these conduct guidelines.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, lesson plans, and software, is the property of Al-Ilm Academy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
- Course materials provided to students are for personal educational use only and may not be shared or redistributed.
9. Use of Website & Free Tools
Our website offers free Islamic tools (Qibla Finder, Prayer Times, Zakat Calculator, Digital Tasbih, etc.) for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Use our website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
- Scrape, data-mine, or use automated bots on our website
- Interfere with the proper functioning of our website or services
10. Limitation of Liability
Al-Ilm Academy provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to deliver the highest quality education:
- We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or results
- We are not liable for any technical issues (internet connectivity, platform outages) beyond our control
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the preceding 3 months
- We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate the enrolment with 7 days' written notice.
- Al-Ilm Academy may terminate or suspend access immediately if a student violates these Terms.
- Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain payable.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
